Rare Green Dragon Part Tea Set

This rare 'Green Dragon' Tea Service is a highly recognisable fine bone china design featuring oriental-style green dragons. 

Produced by Hammersely & Co. the renowned English bone china manufacturers, which was founded in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England in 1862.

This particular highly sought-after design was produced between the 19th & mid 20th century. Our collection dates from around 1950.

The intricate green dragon motifs on a white background are striking & highly auspicious.

This part-set includes a milk jug, sugar bowl, set of six tea cups & saucers (please see surface crack to one tea cup, as pictured), set of six side plates & one dessert plate.

Pieces sold separately (side plates/cups & saucers as complete sets of six each).

In a similar style, we also have one Green Dragon milk jug by Coalport. Also known as 'Broseley Dragon'. This is another highly collectible early 20th-century porcelain pattern featuring a distinct Asian-inspired green dragon design.

Cup & Saucer: Cup 8cm diameter x 6cm tall. Saucer: 14cm diameter

Milk Jug: End of spout to end of handle: 15cm, 6.5cm tall

Lidded Sugar Bowl: 11.5cm diameter, 5.5cm tall

Coalport Jug: End of spout to end of handle: 14cm, 10cm tall at front
