This Chinoiserie-influenced design is named 'Oriental Musicians' and is by renowned Staffordshire porcelain makers Hilditch & Sons.

These highly-decorated dishes feature a multicoloured scene of musicians in a garden setting, with pagodas & floral motifs. They date from

between 1822-1830.

The beautiful faded colours feature dusky pink, green, yellow, blue, purple & black.

Perfect as dessert plates, or perhaps pretty trinket dishes. They would also make lovely wall hangings.

Please note - one plate has a small area where the glaze has been affected - this is not very noticeable. (picture 6).
