Our hand-painted ceramic umbrella stand features traditional Chinese artistry.

 

The Chinese character for "fish" (鱼) sounds similar to the word for "abundance" (余), making fish, especially carp, symbols of wealth & prosperity.  

As well as an attractive decorative piece, the stand is a functional addition to the home & can be used for storing umbrellas as well as sporting items such as hockey sticks & tennis rackets.

Hand-made in Jingdezhen, China's heartland of blue & white ceramic production.
