Bamboo & Pine Ginger Jar Lamp

In Chinese tradition, three of the most important life goals are the blessings of happiness (fú 福), professional success or prosperity (lù 禄), and longevity (shòu 寿).

Bamboo represents longevity; because the bamboo tree never loses its leaves, it has come to symbolise old age and endurance. The pine tree is also a symbol of a long life.  

• Made by hand up to 30 years ago, following traditional Qing Dynasty craftsmanship methods and design
